TLDR: In this monthly satsang meditation filmed on the spring equinox, Deva Premal guides a global circle through mantra and kirtan practice as a means of cultivating inner peace and radiating intention for planetary balance. Drawing on a four-year tradition born during COVID-19, the session centers on the Gaia mantra and the Gayatri mantra—both designed to attune participants to equilibrium, divine feminine energy, and the interconnected whole. The teaching frames mantra as a tool for inner cleansing and "sacred geometry," establishing personal peace as the foundation for outward action toward collective wellbeing.

How Did This Monthly Satsang Begin?

The monthly satsang tradition grew organically from daily practice during the COVID-19 pandemic. Deva Premal and Miten began chanting the Gayatri mantra to the camera every day, and the practice attracted a growing global audience. After 77 consecutive days without interruption, they shifted to a weekly Saturday rhythm that has now continued for approximately four years. What began as a simple digital gathering has evolved into both an online circle spanning the globe and an in-person community of people who gather physically to participate together. This particular session on the spring equinox drew participants from multiple continents, including longtime friends from Australia and neighboring communities, all converging around a shared intention for peace.

Why the Spring Equinox as a Focus?

The equinox holds particular significance in this practice because it represents a moment of perfect balance. On the equinox—whether in the Northern or Southern Hemisphere—all places on Earth receive exactly equal amounts of daylight and darkness. Deva emphasizes that this astronomical fact carries symbolic weight: "On this day, from northern Europe or the northern part of the globe to the equator, everybody receives the same amount of daylight and darkness." This universal balance becomes a mirror for inner equilibrium and sets the container for collective intention-setting. Rather than viewing the equinox as merely a calendar marker, the teaching positions it as a natural amplifier of prayer and spiritual practice. The balance inherent in the equinox is believed to "lift our prayers," creating an auspicious window for cultivating and radiating peace when it is most needed on the planet.

What Is the Gaia Mantra and Its Purpose?

The Gaia mantra opens the session as a way to "bring in the spirit of Mother Earth." The mantra begins with Om Shri, which represents respectful invocation of the divine feminine principle. Shri is described as "the respectful form to bow down to the divine feminine." The second component, Purnatva, carries the meaning of interconnectedness and perfection—a fullness that encompasses everything. Together, the Gaia mantra becomes a practice of honoring the Earth as a sentient, sacred presence and recognizing humanity's relationship of dependence and reverence toward the planet that sustains all life. By opening with this mantra, the gathering establishes an ecological and feminine-honoring foundation before moving into deeper meditative practice.

How Does Mantra Function as Inner Cleansing?

Deva frames mantra practice as a process of creating "sacred geometry" within the inner world. The teaching draws an analogy to physical tidiness: just as one might organize a room by placing objects in their proper places, mantra is understood as a means of putting the inner landscape into "divine order." This is not presented as a vague or abstract concept but as a specific reorganization of consciousness and subtle energy through sound vibration. The repetition of mantra—whether the Gayatri, the Gaia mantra, or other sacred formulations—acts as a cleansing agent, clearing accumulated mental and emotional clutter and aligning the inner world with harmony and balance. This inner work is described not as escapism but as essential preparation: "I also feel like we're putting our inner world in divine order," suggesting that personal peace and clarity are prerequisites for effective action in the world.

What Is the Gayatri Mantra and Its Teaching?

The Gayatri mantra is the central practice in this gathering, chanted repeatedly throughout the session. The full mantra is: Om Bhur Bhuva Svaha Tat Savitur Varenyam Bhargo Devasya Dhimahi Dhiyo Yo Nah Prachodayat. This ancient Vedic mantra is traditionally understood as an invocation to the Sun (Savitur) and an appeal to the divine intelligence to illuminate and guide the mind. The mantra addresses multiple dimensions of existence—Bhur (physical earth), Bhuva (atmosphere/subtle realm), and Svaha (celestial/transcendent)—creating a comprehensive invocation across all levels of being. By chanting the Gayatri repeatedly, the practice creates a sustained attunement to solar consciousness, divine wisdom, and the illumination of the intellect. In the context of this equinox gathering, the Gayatri serves as both a personal practice and a unified voice—with the global circle joining in simultaneous intention.

How Does Inner Peace Lead to Outer Action?

A key teaching embedded in this satsang is that personal peace is not an end in itself but a prerequisite for effective compassionate action. Miten articulates this directly: "Come to a space of inner peace and then so that can re-radiate out and then result in action that helps peace to happen more in our surroundings." This framework inverts a common assumption that one must act first and find peace later. Instead, the practice positions inner cultivation as the energetic source from which authentic, aligned action naturally arises. By establishing inner peace through mantra and meditation, participants create a frequency that "re-radiates" outward, influencing their relationships, communities, and ultimately the collective field. This is neither magical thinking nor passivity but a recognition that consciousness itself is contagious—that the state we embody directly affects the state we co-create with others.

What Role Does Kirtan Play in This Gathering?

Alongside silent and guided chanting, the session includes kirtan—call-and-response devotional singing. Kirtan transforms the practice from individual meditation into participatory communion, with live musicians (including guest musicians Elena and Kylie) creating a container for spontaneous, embodied devotion. The kirtan section includes original compositions that weave spiritual intention with poetic imagery. One notable piece invokes themes of love, interconnection, and the courage not to abandon hope: "Bring me your love. Bring it on home. Bring me your body, your blood and your bones." The lyrics move between the personal and the universal, addressing both inner longing and planetary consciousness. Kirtan in this context serves as a bridge between structured mantra practice and spontaneous, joy-filled expression—allowing the nervous system to open more fully while the heart remains anchored in intention.

How Does Community Presence Amplify the Practice?

While the satsang reaches a global online audience, the presence of people gathered physically in one location—described as a "Garden of Eden" setting with views of sky, ocean, and natural surroundings—creates a tangible energetic field that participants can feel and reference. Deva and Miten frequently pause to acknowledge the beauty of the space, the trees, the monkeys, the ocean, and the shared earth beneath everyone's feet. This grounding in physical presence and natural beauty counterbalances the abstract nature of mantra and meditation, reminding practitioners that the sacred is not separate from embodied, sensory reality. The gathering of longtime friends and new community members "who don't usually come" suggests that the equinox created a special pull or permission for people to show up. This convergence—both physical and digital—creates a sense of shared purpose that amplifies individual intention.

Where to Go From Here

Those drawn to this practice can engage with Deva Premal and Miten's ongoing work through multiple channels. The monthly Saturday satsang meditations continue as a standing invitation to join a global circle. For deeper immersion, the Gayatri Sangha App provides access to guided practices, additional mantras, and community resources. Those interested in extended retreat experiences can explore the Gayatri Gatherings and holiday retreats offered throughout the year. The foundational teaching here—that inner peace cultivated through mantra becomes a radiating force for outer change—can be embodied immediately through daily chanting practice, whether of the Gayatri, the Gaia mantra, or other sacred formulations. The equinox moment of balance serves as a natural reset point: a reminder to attune to equilibrium, cleanse the inner world through sound, and then offer that clarified consciousness toward the healing of the planet.

[20:26] >> Oh, the camera is all on you.

[20:29] Which is great, but uh let's just change

[20:31] it. Hello. Hello my sweet friend.

[20:35] So,

[20:36] while Dave was doing that,

[20:40] most of you guys know

[20:41] that this is a result, these meetings,

[20:45] like getting togethers, really result of

[20:48] what happened back in COVID days when we

[20:50] were chanting into the

[20:52] camera every day, the Gayatri mantra,

[20:55] and more and more more and more people

[20:57] joined and it and it we never stopped.

[20:59] We we stopped for 77 days. We didn't

[21:03] miss one day. 77 days then

[21:06] every Saturday since then. And that was

[21:09] right around 4 years ago. 60.

[21:11] >> And then

[21:12] and then it just it's just grown to to

[21:15] to what it is right here right now,

[21:17] which I'm so grateful for.

[21:20] Uh

[21:21] and uh

[21:22] are we actually talking to the people

[21:24] right now? We're talking to

[21:26] a a circle that spans around the globe

[21:29] and it's just really such an

[21:31] such an auspicious day today because

[21:33] it's the equinox. And I it's I still

[21:36] can't get my head around it that on this

[21:38] day like from

[21:40] northern

[21:42] Europe or northern like the northern

[21:45] part of the the globe to the equator,

[21:48] every

[21:49] everybody receives the same amount of

[21:52] daylight and and darkness on this

[21:54] >> Everybody gets the same text message.

[21:56] And uh it's just I actually really went

[21:59] and

[22:01] looked it up because I didn't believe

[22:02] it. It's true. So, this is really a day

[22:06] to

[22:08] to tune into that balance and that's why

[22:11] I also felt like let's really make this

[22:13] uh

[22:14] a strong intention for peace because

[22:16] obviously that's the most needed on this

[22:19] planet right now and I I feel that

[22:21] equinox will

[22:23] lift our prayers, you know, that prayer

[22:26] of balance and and

[22:28] equilibrium.

[22:30] And so, that's what we've come together

[22:32] for. And also, it's reflected in our

[22:34] community here that has come together

[22:36] here physically. It's friends that we

[22:38] have had for many many years from

[22:40] Australia and our beautiful neighbors

[22:43] and uh

[22:43] just uh really uh it feels like many

[22:46] people have come together who don't

[22:47] usually come. So, it's like it feels

[22:49] like we're really um

[22:52] yeah, we really feel like we need to

[22:54] show up and and lift our voices and do

[22:57] what we can.

[22:59] It feels good.

[23:00] >> Yeah, to to Really it feels good. to

[23:03] come to a space of inner peace and then

[23:05] so that can re- radiate out and then

[23:08] result in action that helps peace to

[23:11] happen more in our surroundings and then

[23:13] with the effect. So,

[23:15] we start with ourselves

[23:17] cleaning up our own inner world with a

[23:20] mantra. I also feel like we're putting

[23:23] our inner world in in divine order, you

[23:26] know? I'm a very tidy person. I like to

[23:29] tidy things up, to put them in the right

[23:30] place. And I feel that in inside with

[23:32] the mantras, I feel like we are

[23:35] um

[23:36] you know, creating this sacred

[23:39] geometry inside, you know, feeling of

[23:43] Listening. of beauty. What is the

[23:45] mantra? Mhm. We do the mantra.

[23:51] We didn't rehearse this.

[23:53] And here are our beautiful friends

[23:56] Elena and Kylie, her daughter Kylie. And

[24:00] we are just so lucky to have them.

[24:01] They're beautiful people and musicians

[24:04] and we've been We got to know each other

[24:06] here.

[24:07] Can you see Elena? Yes, I can.

[24:10] So, uh

[24:11] give big welcome to you. Oh, actually

[24:13] let's let's let's do Gaia mantra.

[24:15] Put your hands on. Yeah, so

[24:17] >> [music]

[24:17] >> just to bring in the spirit of Mother

[24:19] Earth, let's start start with Gaia

[24:21] mantra,

[24:22] mantra to celebrate Gaia, Mother Earth,

[24:26] to celebrate the goddess, Mother Earth,

[24:29] with the

[24:32] with the sound Om Shri. Shri is the

[24:35] respectful form to bow down to the

[24:37] divine [music]

[24:39] feminine.

[24:41] And then Purnatva is the connection to

[24:44] everything and it's also the perfection.

[24:47] Purnatva.

[24:48] >> [music]

[40:28] Let's close your eyes for a moment.

[40:31] It's coming home.

[41:32] And take a deep breath.

[41:37] Let's go ahead and pass.

[41:45] So before we

[41:47] embark on our Gayatri

[41:49] mantra journey, I just want to

[41:52] also bring in the the the fact that

[41:55] today

[41:57] we started our

[41:59] mantra meditation course, 21-day or

[42:03] 7-day mantra meditation course in

[42:05] Spanish and Portuguese.

[42:07] We did that in

[42:09] German and English last year. Now we

[42:11] have it all translated Spanish and

[42:14] Portuguese.

[42:15] And 52,000 people signed up and it's

[42:18] starting today. And today

[42:21] >> It's

[42:21] not just translated also in Australia.

[42:27] You say

[42:29] And uh

[42:30] >> It's Australian.

[42:34] And uh

[42:36] this morning we had our first call to

[42:38] just

[42:39] connect in a circle. And it's it's 7

[42:42] days of every day

[42:45] one mantra, one portal into our inner

[42:49] sanctum in our inner world. And if you

[42:51] are interested, you can still sign up.

[42:53] It's Lisa's going to put the

[42:55] links there in the link tree in

[42:57] Instagram.

[42:59] And either you can have it either dubbed

[43:01] in Spanish or you can just have it with

[43:02] subtitles the same Portuguese. So it'll

[43:05] be easy for you to follow. And it's it's

[43:08] going to create another wave of

[43:11] of

[43:12] good vibrations in the planet, you know?

[43:15] So stay with it. Do the 7 days if you

[43:17] can and and

[43:19] make that a practice for the next 7

[43:21] days. We are so inviting. We are so

[43:24] happy that this is

[43:25] this the unity has helped us or created

[43:29] this with us together.

[43:31] Yeah. And you know, commitment is such a

[43:33] thing. I I

[43:35] It was a

[43:36] great help for me in the ashram. I

[43:37] learned what commitment was and

[43:39] naturally

[43:41] uh it's it's in essential on on your

[43:45] path at at some point to commit to

[43:48] something. Uh and you know, like for

[43:51] instance this there is saying the mantra

[43:53] practice that you just commit to the

[43:56] next 7 days where you you you have the

[44:00] time recorded.

[44:02] Is it recorded?

[44:04] Is it live?

[44:05] You tell. Yeah, no. I don't know how it

[44:07] goes. It's all that stuff. It's it's

[44:10] live.

[44:10] >> We recorded it and they are watching it.

[44:12] Yeah. Yeah.

[44:14] Yeah.

[44:17] Good.

[44:17] >> [laughter]

[44:20] >> Good.

[44:21] >> [clears throat]

[44:21] >> Commitment. Commitment every day. That's

[44:23] really something. That's really

[44:25] something. I really

[44:27] because in in my work with Osho, he

[44:29] never made us do anything. It was it was

[44:33] there or not. People if you wanted it

[44:37] and it was up to you. Nobody was going

[44:39] to do the hard miles for you. Nobody was

[44:42] going to stay in bed

[44:43] while you looked at the scriptures and

[44:45] did all that. No, you had to put the

[44:46] hard work in, you know?

[44:48] And uh

[44:49] that's that was a

[44:52] that sense of commitment. I knew I had

[44:54] to be up at 4:00 a.m. I knew I had to

[44:58] not because anyone told me because I

[45:01] it was a it was my escape from myself.

[45:05] Of of of of the past so I just shedding

[45:09] off more and more.

[45:13] bits and pieces of my past, you know?

[45:17] And uh

[45:19] and singing

[45:21] cleans everything. It's what they call

[45:22] it a cleansing. It's clean singing.

[45:25] That's what we're doing.

[45:28] So, where were we?

[45:30] And while we're already in the Spanish

[45:34] Portuguese speaking realm,

[45:36] just also want to say that we are so

[45:38] happy that uh soon we're going to embark

[45:40] on a

[45:42] um tour of South America. And it's so

[45:45] special to us because it happened so

[45:47] rarely. The last time we were in Brazil

[45:49] was I think 12 years ago.

[45:51] And so it's going to be five cities in

[45:53] Bra- Brazil. And we're so excited to be

[45:56] coming and also Buenos Aires and

[45:59] Santiago de Chile.

[46:01] And uh yeah, so if you have the chance

[46:04] because this is so precious when you're

[46:06] actually in the room, as you know, when

[46:08] you're in the room together with

[46:10] many many people chanting. It's it makes

[46:12] it super blissful and very

[46:16] you like your whole body absorbs the

[46:17] vibration of everybody singing and it's

[46:19] just it's just

[46:21] uncomparable. It's it's very very

[46:24] very transformative. So just wanted to

[46:27] let you know also Lisa, you can put the

[46:30] the link if you are in one of those

[46:31] countries. And then in Europe we come

[46:33] later in the year.

[46:36] So now let's stay with this moment and

[46:39] let's

[46:43] commit to

[46:45] 108 cycles of the Gayatri mantra.

[46:49] So that's big. You know, we used to not

[46:51] even share 108 cycles because we felt we

[46:55] weren't ready for it because it takes

[46:56] too long or it's

[46:58] too much of a long mantra.

[47:00] But I feel we are all ready now. And

[47:02] yes, we we are ready to

[47:04] commit those whatever 25 minutes of

[47:07] chanting and let that really

[47:10] work on us the vibration, you know? The

[47:13] tension.

[47:13] >> That's uh Mhm? The tension of peace.

[47:15] Yeah, and this today we definitely we

[47:18] today we put our

[47:21] intention to to peace.

[47:24] Peace that happens within and then

[47:26] radiates out into the world, into our

[47:28] actions,

[47:30] into our immediate surroundings.

[47:32] How can we bring more peace? How can we

[47:35] bring more peace? How we can we live in

[47:36] more peace? And it's

[47:39] so easy to slip out of peace. I can see

[47:42] it my in myself how easy it is to slip

[47:45] into

[47:46] division or or judgment or

[47:51] you know, even within me, you know? Like

[47:53] splitting myself up into you know?

[47:57] Into into somebody who's judging the

[47:59] other part. So

[48:02] just that intention is already big. And

[48:05] communion intention with so many people

[48:07] around the world makes it even stronger.

[48:11] So Om Bhur Bhuva Swaha Tat Savitur

[48:14] Varenyam Bhargo Devasya Dhimahi Dhiyo Yo

[48:17] Nah Prachodayat.

[48:20] If you don't know the words, just let us

[48:22] chant you. And just enjoy and sit and

[48:24] you can also lie down. You can sit. You

[48:26] can sway. You can dance. Whatever

[48:30] >> [snorts]

[48:30] >> makes you happy and whatever lets your

[48:33] body be loose and relaxed and pain free.

[48:37] And when you're spaced out and you

[48:39] realize you've been

[48:40] thinking about something or other,

[48:43] don't

[48:44] give yourself a hard time with that.

[48:46] Just come back on the train. The train's

[48:48] still riding. So you can slip off at any

[48:51] time and you come back. Come back. Come

[48:54] back.

[48:55] And uh

[48:56] And don't give yourself a hard time when

[48:58] you

[48:59] slipped off because you will we will

[49:03] >> [music]

[49:04] >> And also this feeling of tenderness, I

[49:07] always want to bring that back to our

[49:09] chanting that we chant with a

[49:12] loving, tender, [music] joyful heart.

[49:15] So that doesn't become an automatic

[49:20] or robotic repetition, but that every

[49:24] every repetition is is caressed and

[49:28] >> [music]

[49:28] >> appreciated and honored and loved

[49:32] as much as we can. So that brings us

[49:34] also back into the moment and then to a

[49:36] sense of

[49:38] flexibility

[49:40] and

[49:42] softness.

[49:44] So, a caress. Let's make this a caress

[49:47] for the whole planet.

[49:53] And that caress is a caress of light

[49:56] because the Gayatri mantra invokes the

[49:58] light.

[50:00] So, this beautiful warm life-giving

[50:05] soothing light.

[50:09] We're invoking with our voices with

[50:11] these sounds that are light.

[50:29] >> [bell]

[50:33] >> Okay.

[50:38] Start with the mantra Om.

[50:52] Now, I just realized that we didn't call

[50:54] out the names today for our beautiful

[50:57] Gayatri sangha [music] app.

[51:00] We consciously bring in all the people

[51:03] that have reached out in our app.

[51:05] Written the names in the comments for

[51:08] healing, for blessings, for support.

[51:11] We bring those people into the

[51:14] center of this healing circle that spans

[51:17] around the globe and we

[51:19] >> [bell]

[51:21] >> We hear you. We appreciate you and we

[51:23] realize you need your you need support.

[51:25] So, this is specially also for you.

[51:30] And every one of us, we can just utter

[51:32] names that we want to bring into this

[51:34] healing circle. This is such a good

[51:36] moment to do this out loud.

[51:38] >> [music]

[51:38] >> Just say the names of people, of

[51:40] yourself

[51:43] that you want to bring into the healing

[51:45] circle right now.

[51:52] It's important to say it out loud. It

[51:54] makes it strong. It makes it very

[51:57] >> [music]

[51:57] >> full of intention.

[52:18] >> [music]

[1:26:11] >> Thank you, Osho.

[1:26:16] Namaste.

[1:26:49] Yes.

[1:26:50] Two or three toucans come every day and

[1:26:52] they are really not shy. And they're

[1:26:55] bathing and they're

[1:26:57] sharpening their beaks or whatever

[1:26:59] they're doing. And it's so interesting

[1:27:01] because when they come we go, "Aw, it's

[1:27:03] so sweet. The toucans come." And we get

[1:27:06] all, you know, emotional. And then the

[1:27:08] vultures come and we go like,

[1:27:11] "Go away."

[1:27:13] >> [laughter]

[1:27:13] >> And it's so interesting. It's like, you

[1:27:15] know, when a butterfly flies around us

[1:27:17] we go like, "Aw, this beautiful

[1:27:19] butterfly, you know, wants to be around

[1:27:21] me, you know, wants to tell me

[1:27:22] something." And then comes a bee. What's

[1:27:24] this annoying bee, you know, like why is

[1:27:26] it

[1:27:27] Why does it get on my nerves? It's just

[1:27:30] uh I I do love you too, you vultures,

[1:27:32] but you just don't smell as good.

[1:27:34] Um

[1:27:36] but uh

[1:27:37] these are very delightful, these

[1:27:38] creatures here.

[1:27:40] So just uh there's three of them.

[1:27:44] Okay, beloveds, thank you for joining us

[1:27:47] today.

[1:27:49] We'll uh

[1:27:50] we'll imagine that this next week you're

[1:27:53] going to be celebrating full

[1:27:55] to the max.

[1:27:56] Giving thanks. Remember, it could be

[1:28:00] your last. We don't know. None of us

[1:28:03] know. So live next week

[1:28:07] really like uh

[1:28:09] you know, if there's anything you need

[1:28:11] to clear up with anybody, do it. Let's

[1:28:14] let's be like that. And let's

[1:28:15] >> Finally we did our last will, Vitan and

[1:28:17] I. I really encourage you to to look at

[1:28:20] your will. It's a good feeling.

[1:28:21] >> It's easy for me. I don't have anything.

[1:28:24] >> [laughter]

[1:28:24] >> I I just got a laptop and some guitars

[1:28:27] to give away.

[1:28:29] Yeah, it's it's it's just uh good to

[1:28:32] bring our our

[1:28:34] affairs in order so we are always ready.

[1:28:36] It's it's a really good feeling. So it's

[1:28:39] actually a very

[1:28:40] freeing feeling and uh It's fun it's

[1:28:43] strange

[1:28:44] It's strange that you always say um

[1:28:47] uh when Vitan dies.

[1:28:52] When do I always say that?

[1:28:54] >> [laughter]

[1:28:57] >> I noticed with the will.

[1:28:59] Oh, yeah. When or when when I die. Yeah.

[1:29:02] No.

[1:29:04] >> [laughter]

[1:29:04] >> You're not allowed to die yet.

[1:29:07] No [snorts] way.

[1:29:08] >> There's no if here. There's just a when.

[1:29:11] The when.

[1:29:12] And uh yeah, just uh

[1:29:15] we are just very blessed and blessed to

[1:29:17] have this community and also just want

[1:29:20] to say again if you are not aware of our

[1:29:22] app and you've just come for this

[1:29:25] for this monthly satsang open live

[1:29:27] stream that we have today. Just want to

[1:29:30] let you know that we have this beautiful

[1:29:32] community that meets like this every

[1:29:34] Saturday and it's so so precious. And

[1:29:38] with my Tanya, you never know what's

[1:29:39] going to happen, you know?

[1:29:41] I don't know. I It's uh every Saturday

[1:29:43] is a unfolding I watch

[1:29:46] >> That's how it should be, no?

[1:29:47] >> mostly in delight. Imagine [laughter]

[1:29:50] Not mostly. Mostly in delight.

[1:29:54] Well, that's a good percentage.

[1:29:55] >> Yes, it's a good That's pretty good.

[1:29:57] It's worth taking a risk for that. Yes.

[1:30:00] And and we have just such beautiful full

[1:30:02] meetings also in the app. We have uh

[1:30:05] these uh teacher features where we come

[1:30:07] together as a community and invite

[1:30:10] teachers like Andrew Holecek on on dream

[1:30:13] yoga and Mia on

[1:30:15] dream

[1:30:16] Mia last week on on on lucid dreaming

[1:30:20] and the whole dream world and and we're

[1:30:23] going to have uh Jack Kornfield and Jon

[1:30:26] Kabat-Zinn and we've had so many amazing

[1:30:29] people.

[1:30:30] They're all still It's all still

[1:30:31] available in the app and it just feels

[1:30:33] like such a rich

[1:30:36] community of of people who really

[1:30:39] Just to be able to spend an hour

[1:30:40] >> feeling connected, yeah. with those

[1:30:42] guys.

[1:30:42] >> Yeah.

[1:30:43] And then our monthly you know, hang out

[1:30:46] times, try times where we just see what

[1:30:48] happens or

[1:30:50] It's really very precious. So, just find

[1:30:52] your community if it's virtual or

[1:30:55] both in in person and virtual.

[1:30:59] Especially in this time, find your

[1:31:00] community and nourish it and give give

[1:31:02] yourself to it, you know? There's I can

[1:31:04] think there's also overtone

[1:31:07] uh singing

[1:31:09] teacher there. Probably still is, no?

[1:31:12] I mean, we've had

[1:31:12] >> And Jai Uttal came to mind.

[1:31:17] people. Yeah.

[1:31:31] We're we're hanging there all the time.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Gayatri mantra (Om Bhur Bhuva Svaha Tat Savitur Varenyam Bhargo Devasya Dhimahi Dhiyo Yo Nah Prachodayat) is an ancient Vedic invocation to the Sun and divine intelligence, traditionally chanted to illuminate and guide the mind. In this practice, it is used to attune consciousness to wisdom, balance, and the light of understanding across all dimensions of existence—physical, subtle, and transcendent.
On the equinox, every location on Earth receives equal amounts of daylight and darkness—a universal balance that serves as a mirror for inner equilibrium. This natural moment of symmetry is considered an auspicious time to set collective intention for peace, as the cosmic balance is believed to amplify prayers and spiritual practice.
Yes. The monthly Saturday satsang is broadcast globally online, creating a circle that spans around the world. Participants can join from any location, either in real-time or through recorded access later, allowing the practice to reach a distributed community while also welcoming those who gather physically in person.
According to this teaching, inner peace cultivated through mantra and meditation creates a frequency that radiates outward, naturally resulting in compassionate action that helps peace manifest in one's relationships and communities. Inner work is not escapism but the energetic foundation for authentic, aligned action in the world.
The Gaia mantra begins with Om Shri (respectful invocation of the divine feminine) and continues with Purnatva (interconnectedness and perfection). Together, it honors Mother Earth as a sacred, sentient presence and acknowledges humanity's dependence on and reverence toward the planet that sustains all life.
Mantra is framed as a way of creating 'sacred geometry' within the inner world, reorganizing consciousness and placing it into divine order. Like tidying a physical space, the repetition of sacred sound clears mental and emotional clutter, aligning the inner landscape with harmony and balance.
